The four 4040 verticals that turn a Voron 2.4 frame into a DoomCube, ordered from MISUMI to the part numbers in the DoomCube-2 BOM. Pick your size and your corner style and I order the set for you.

DoomCube swaps the 2020 verticals for 4040 so the panels sit off the frame with an air gap for insulation, moves the Z drives to the top and puts the mains electronics at the bottom. This kit is the extrusion part of that: the rest of your 2.4 frame stays as it is.

Square or rounded

• Square, pre-drilled: MISUMI HFSB5-4040 with the LCP-RCP blind-joint counterbores machined by MISUMI. They replace your four 2020 verticals; no drilling at your bench.
• Rounded: MISUMI HFSR5-404020, the rounded-corner profile your existing 2020 verticals nest into. The 4040s need no machining; the 2020 verticals that nest into them need holes drilled, which you do yourself.

What's in the box

Black anodised. Blind-joint screws are not included. The new Z idlers and relocated endstop mounts DoomCube needs are printed parts from the DoomCube-2 repository.

Lead time

MISUMI cuts each set to order, so count on about a week before it ships from Zutphen, longer than my printed parts. I'll mail you when it is on its way.
