The metal-only version: HotEnd body and ObXidian nozzle, for anyone reusing the fan and heater from their current Bambu HotEnd. Made by E3D under official licence from Bambu Lab — they are the only approved manufacturer of aftermarket Bambu HotEnds.
Inside is E3D's patent-pending high-flow nozzle geometry, first developed for Revo, good for about 60% more volumetric flow than stock. The E3DLC coating on nozzle and heater block adds abrasion resistance for fibre-filled filament and keeps plastic from sticking where it shouldn't.
What's in the box
Metal-only HotEnd, thermal paste, silicone sock, HotEnd clip and fixings. No fan and no heater — you move those over from your existing HotEnd. Want the complete drop-in instead? Take the complete HotEnd.
Fits
Bambu Lab X1, X1 Carbon, P1P and P1S. 1.75 mm filament, 300 °C max. Not compatible with the X1E, the A1 series or the H2 series.
Very aggressive fillers (Polymaker's Fiberon PA-CF and PA-GF and the like) will wear even ObXidian over time. E3D part numbers BAMBU-HF-OBX-MO-0400-SPK and BAMBU-HF-OBX-MO-0600-SPK.
Shipping & delivery
I don't keep this on the shelf: it's ordered from the manufacturer when you buy, so allow about a week before it ships. Then it goes out tracked from the Netherlands. Free over €50 in NL and €75 worldwide.
