Details
A drop-in HotEnd upgrade for the Bambu Lab A1, A1 Mini and A2L, made by E3D under official licence from Bambu Lab. The nozzle carries E3D's ObXidian tool-steel tip with the E3DLC coating, so carbon- and glass-filled filament stops eating your nozzle, and the reshaped internal geometry pushes up to 70% more flow than the stock HotEnd.
The coating is non-stick as well: less plastic creeping up the nozzle, fewer crashes, easier cleaning. It installs like the stock part — unclip the old HotEnd, slot this one in. Heater and thermistor wiring stay in the toolhead, so there is nothing to solder and no mount or part-cooling change.
Fits
Bambu Lab A1, A1 Mini and A2L. 1.75 mm filament, 300 °C max. Not compatible with the H2 series or with X1/P1 machines — for those see the X1 & P1 version.
Good to know
Very aggressive fillers (Polymaker's Fiberon PA-CF and PA-GF and the like) will wear even ObXidian over time; for those, DiamondBack is the set-and-forget option. And skip 0.4 mm for heavily filled filament — the fibres are often close to the hole size.
