Details
This PCB goes behind the eject button on each EMU lane. Four RGBW LEDs light the button up, so Happy Hare can show load and unload animations, and an SMD switch gives a crisper click than the D2F switch with magnets. It also cuts down the wiring and soldering in the button.
What it replaces
- 1 NeoPixel, 1 D2F-L switch and 4 of the 6×3 mm magnets from the base EMU BOM, per lane
- The JST-XH 5-pin header is already soldered on
Good to know
- One PCB per lane.
- In Klipper, set
chain_count: 5per lane: LEDs 1–4 are the button (exit LEDs), LED 5 is the dry box (entry LED). - The eject button pin gets a
!(^!mmu0:EJECT_BUTTON), unlike the D2F setup. - Run a 600 mm AWG26–28 wire from DOut to the LED IN of the dry box, then you can leave out the third WAGO.
