Details
An NFC reader for the EMU, built around the PN532. It reads the tag on a spool when you load it, so Happy Hare can fill in the material and colour for that lane by itself instead of you typing it in.
On the board
- PN532 NFC reader, I2C
- Reads ISO14443A tags (NTAG, MIFARE)
- Happy Hare's NFC support covers OpenSpool, OpenTag3D and TigerTag, plus Bambu, Creality, QIDI, Elegoo and Anycubic tags
- M2×6 SHCS mounting screws included
Good to know
- One reader per lane you want to read tags on.
- It needs the hardware I2C bus on the lane board. Software I2C doesn't support NFC.
- NFC support in Happy Hare and the EMU is new and still being worked on. Check the Happy Hare NFC wiki for the current state before you order.
- The PN532 can't read ISO15693 (NFC Type 5) tags.
