Isik's Tech Birds' Nest CAN Hub for Toolchanger 3D Printers (Pre-Order)

Details

The CAN version of the Birds' Nest, for toolchangers with a CAN toolhead board on each tool. It doubles as your USB-to-CAN bridge and lays the bus out as a proper linear topology, which is the part most home-made CAN hubs get wrong.

What's on the board

• STM32G0B1 MCU running Klipper as USB-to-CAN bridge
• 6× CAN toolhead ports plus expansion ports for more CAN devices
• 6× 4-pin filament sensor ports, 6× thermistor ports, 2× 5V ARGB ports
• Up to 30 A total to the toolheads
• 120 Ω termination jumpers, max stub length 300 mm

Good to know

• Built for 6-wire umbilicals (two twisted CAN pairs plus power), such as Igus CF113-018-D. A 4-wire mode exists but is less reliable.
• MX3.0 and XH connectors are included.

Pre-order. I'm bringing this board in from Isik's Tech in the US. Expected to ship in 3–4 weeks. As soon as it lands in the Netherlands it goes out to you, and you pay no import fees or customs on top.
