Isik's Tech Birds' Nest USB Hub for Toolchanger 3D Printers (Pre-Order)

Details

A USB hub for toolchangers that run a USB toolhead board on every tool. One Birds' Nest takes up to six toolheads and gives each one its own protected port, so you run six short cables to a single board instead of six long ones back to the Pi.

It runs its own Klipper MCU, so the filament sensors, thermistors and LEDs for each tool connect here too.

What's on the board

• STM32G0B1 MCU running Klipper over USB
• 6× MX3.0 USB toolhead ports with MOSFET and diode protection
• 6× 3-pin filament sensor ports, 4× thermistor ports, 2× 5V RGB LED ports
• Up to 20 A total to the toolheads

Good to know

• With 60 W or bigger hotends at 24 V, heat the tools one after another, not all at once.
• The 5V LED outputs are for a few status LEDs, not LED strips.
• MX3.0 and XH connectors are included.

Pre-order. I'm bringing this board in from Isik's Tech in the US. Expected to ship in 3–4 weeks. As soon as it lands in the Netherlands it goes out to you, and you pay no import fees or customs on top.
