The HotEnd upgrade for Bambu's newest machines — the H2 and P2 series and the X2D. E3D builds these under official licence from Bambu Lab, and ObXiDian 500 is their hardest nozzle coating yet: at least five times more wear-resistant than standard ObXidian, and rated to 500 °C where ObXidian stops at 300.
The four-channel internal insert improves heat transfer into the filament and lifts volumetric flow by up to 60%. Most abrasives — carbon fibre, glass fibre, even glow-in-the-dark — simply won't wear it. The low-surface-energy coating keeps plastic off the tip, so cleaning is easier and you get fewer crashes.
Fits
Bambu Lab H2D, H2C, H2S, P2S, X2D and A2L. 1.75 mm filament. Same form factor as the stock HotEnd, so it drops in with no change to the mount or part cooling. Not compatible with the X1/P1 or A1 series — for those see the X1 & P1 version.
Good to know
Your printer's own limit still applies, not the nozzle's. Want the absolute hardest tip instead of flow? The DiamondBack for the same machines uses a solid diamond. E3D part numbers BAMBU-HF-OBD-H2-P2-0400-SPK and -0600-SPK.
