Details

The PZ Probe on its own, for builds outside the Revo ecosystem. A piezo washer plus the PZ Board, so you can add contact probing to whatever toolhead you're running.

The piezo element turns vibration into an electrical signal the moment something makes contact. The board speaks I2C or UART, and you can set it to trigger on either compression or expansion of the element — which is what makes it flexible: use it as a Z probe under the bed or in an extruder mount, as an X or Y endstop, or to measure tool offsets on a toolchanger.

Configuring it

The PZ Board has five configurations, so you pick the communication method that suits your electronics. Commands let you fine-tune sensitivity and save the result to a preset. E3D's technical datasheet has the full command list — read it before you install.

Running a Voron with Stealthburner?
